Dr. Arafat Hashwani earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine in Lubbock and completed his internal medicine internship and neurology residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He then completed his neurophysiology fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston with a focus on ectroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyogram/nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS).
Board certified in neurology, Dr. Hashwani sub-specializes in clinical neurophysiology. His clinical interests include seizures, epilepsy, migraine headaches, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, radiculopathy, myopathy, dizziness, vertigo and syncope.
Dr. Hashwani strives to provide the highest quality personal care. He believes in working together with his patients to develop an individualized treatment plan based on evidence-based medicine.
