Dr. Syed Raza, MD

Dr. Syed Raza is a graduate of Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He continued his medical education by completing his internship and residency at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing. This was followed by his fellowship in general cardiology and interventional cardiology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiac echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography, Dr. Raza has special interest in treating varicose veins, spider veins and venous ulceration.

Dr. Raza sees patients 18 years and older, offering comprehensive care as well as detailed evaluation, management and counseling for cardiovascular diseases.  He emphasizes the importance of listening to his patients as well as making sure they are informed about their medical conditions and options for managing their health. He speaks Urdu and Hindi.

Away from the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
