Dr. Hassan Kamran, MD

Dr. Hassan Kamran earned undergraduate degrees in molecular genetics and in economics with a minor in chemistry at The Ohio State University. He completed his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he also finished his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Kamran is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiovascular computer tomography. He treats a variety of conditions, including heart attacks, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chest pain, blockages in heart arteries, placement of stents, removal of blood clots and repair of blockages in lung arteries and legs. Among his primary clinical interests are cardio-catheterization, stents, prevention of heart attacks and handling difficult conditions.

Dr. Kamran makes it a point to develop a patient-centered approach to patient care. He realizes the importance of compassion, empathy, and family involvement when it comes to medical decision making. He strives to develop a mutually respectful relationship with his patients that leads to a successful patient encounter in every way.
