Dr. Mimi Nguyen, DO

Dr. Mimi Nguyen earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., and her medical degree at the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss.

Dr. Nguyen, who is board certified in family medicine, sees patients 18 and up for sick visits, yearly wellness visits and chronic medical conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. Her clinical interests include chronic medical conditions and preventive care such as wellness visits, immunization updates and routine health maintenance.

Her approach to patient care centers on a collaborative effort with the patient to develop a treatment plan that addresses the person’s health concerns. Her strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care is supported by evidence-based practices that lead to optimal patient outcomes.

Dr. Nguyen wants her patients to see her as a thorough and empathetic physician who can help them improve their quality of life.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
