Dr. Rasheed Zaid, MD

Native Houstonian Dr. Rasheed Zaid earned his undergraduate degree at the University of St. Thomas in Houston and his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center in Houston.

Dr. Zaid, who has been in practice since 2010, is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He specializes in cardiovascular disease, with primary clinical interests in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He treats coronary artery disease, heart rhythm problems (arrhythmias), congenital heart defects and other coronary conditions.
