Jill Ash, a board-certified women’s health care nurse practitioner (WHNP-BC), earned her undergraduate degree in nursing at Texas Women’s University in Houston, followed by a master’s degree in nursing through the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
In addition to her experience as a nurse practitioner in a high-risk, high-volume OB-GYN office, she spent eight years as a registered nurse in surgical, antepartum and labor and delivery settings.
Jill has always loved taking care of women—especially pregnant women during what she feels is a very special time for them and their families. One of the most satisfying parts of her practice is when a newly formed, healthy family walks out of her office.
Listening and teaching are important components of her practice philosophy, and she enjoys forming relationships with her patients. Fully understanding a patient, she feels, allows her and the patient to develop a successful plan of care. She wants her patients to feel that she is attentive to their needs and that they were her top priority during the visit.
Jill, an avid Astros fan, enjoys spending time outdoors with her two children and husband. Their favorite places are their deer lease and anywhere with water.
