With numerous access points across Greater Houston, Memorial Hermann delivers timely and convenient cancer care, including prevention, screening, treatment and survivorship support.
Our teams of affiliated cancer specialists collectively strive to improve quality of care by increasing the coordination of care and improving processes aimed at delivering best outcomes while driving down the cost of care. Organized into Centers of Excellence, cancer care teams meet in a multidisciplinary setting to create personalized treatment plans for each patient based on their cancer care needs.
Oncology care at Memorial Hermann is provided at eight hospitals accredited by the American College of Surgeon Commission on Cancer: Greater Heights, Memorial City, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, TMC, The Woodlands and Katy. Memorial Hermann’s cancer network also includes three nationally accredited rectal cancer programs and a network of breast imaging and diagnostic centers.

Cancer Prevention through education, outreach, early detection and early access to treatment helps to improve outcomes, reduce the stress, anxiety and cost of care for patients. The Oncology Service Line supports these measures with access to multidisciplinary coordinated care.
Oncology Nurse Navigation sees nearly 10,000 new patients per year. Top patient needs addressed are: transportation, accommodation, education regarding treatment decisions, survivorship care and health promotion.
Supporting Cancer care at home is provided in partnership with Reimagine Care. This 24/7 virtual and in-person at-home cancer care support is offered to patients undergoing treatment who experience symptoms or side effects of treatment.
