Event Description

Nervous about becoming a dad? Start here.

Join a group of other expecting fathers for weekly classes led by a facilitator. Through sharing experiences and learning co-parenting fundamentals, you’ll leave better prepared to be an involved and positive co-parent.

Virtual sessions for dads with partners delivering at Memorial Hermann in November 2022 or later. Every Thursday, 6:30-8:30pm via Zoom, *First class Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Following classes every Thursday from July 7 through Mid September 2022 (12 total sessions) b>

You’ll learn:

  • What it means to be a dad in today’s world
  • Tips for navigating emotional journey of becoming a parent
  • Skills to communicate, problem solve and co-parent with mom
  • Tips to balance your roles as a father, partner and provider

To attend live remote classes, you will need Wi-Fi access and computer or streaming capability for your phone, IPAD, or computer. Audio and microphone is needed as well. Activity workbooks are in limited supply and will be mailed to the address provided upon confirmation of registration and full participation in the weekly sessions. At the last session, certificates of completion will be awarded.

The 24/7 Dad® program is a family-centered approach for engaging mothers and fathers during pregnancy by providing co-parenting education and support services.
