General Information
Our team includes a board certified neurologist/sleep specialist and trained polysomnographic technologists who are dedicated to identifying and providing treatment recommendations for sleep disorders and neurological diseases, by working with patients and their referring physicians. Patients have a choice to follow-up with our staff or return to their own doctor. The TIRR Memorial Hermann Neurological Sleep Medicine Center specializes in sleep disorders after traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke and other neurological illnesses.
Sleep Disorders
We perform sleep studies on patients with neurological conditions, including but not limited to:
- Traumatic brain injury
- Stroke
- Spinal cord injury
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Multiple sclerosis
- Scoliosis / kyphoscoliosis
- Diaphragmatic paralysis
- Parkinson's disease
- Multiple system atrophy
- Guillain-Barré syndrome
- Alzheimer's disease
- Post-traumatic headache
- Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP)
Parking Information
Surface lot parking is available directly in front of the building. Parking will be validated. Patient MUST check in at desk directly inside building. They will then be directed to a comfortable waiting area and either security or sleep lab staff will come to escort the patient to the lab. No need for patient to arrive early.
