Dr. Matthew Ivey, DPM

Dr. Matthew Ivey graduated from East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas. He earned his podiatric medicine degree from Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences in Miami, Florida, and completed his residency in podiatry at the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program.

Board certified in podiatric surgery, Dr. Matthews specializes in disorders and deformities of the foot and ankle. His clinical interests include sports medicine injuries, reconstruction and treatment following degenerative illness or trauma, as well as general foot and ankle deformities.

An assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, Dr. Ivey is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Ivey is married with two children. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys hunting, fishing, water sports and golf.
