Dr. Junaid Kamal, MD

Dr. Junaid Kamal earned his medical degree at Army Medical College. He completed an internship, residency and fellowship at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

In practice since 1996, Dr. Kamal is board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology. He specializes in pain management, particularly complex pain, and treats adult patients ages 18 and older. He speaks Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Spanish. In addition to his clinical practice, he has served as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Kamal focuses on interventional pain management and selective narcotic management. He is committed to giving time to each patient and educating them. His patients appreciate his attention to explaining things in detail.  

A resident of Pearland, Dr. Kamal enjoys music and running in his leisure time.
