Dr. William Jordan, MD

Dr. William J. Jordan graduated from Houston Baptist University with degrees in chemistry and biology. After serving four years as an infantry officer in the United States Army, he earned his medical degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. He completed his residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and Texas Tech Health Science Center in El Paso, Texas.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Jordan specializes in sports medicine and trauma with clinical interest in general orthopedic surgery, arthroscopy and arthroplasty of all major joints. He views surgical intervention as one step in the path to wellness and recovery and relies heavily upon patient interaction and investment in care.

Dr. Jordan served as staff orthopedic surgeon at Ft. Hood, Texas, focusing primarily on sports medicine related issues for active duty military. A two-time Bronze Star Medal recipient, he oversaw the treatment of hundreds of combat casualties in Afghanistan and participated in patient care at Womack Army Medical Center in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, before going into private practice.
