Dr. Amanda Trang, MD

Dr. Amanda Trang earned her medical degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. She completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

In practice since 2012, Dr. Trang is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and focuses on care for adult and senior patients.  She specializes in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, which uses nonsurgical, catheter-based procedures and specialized imaging techniques to treat structural heart diseases. She also diagnoses and treats heart disease including congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders and heart failure.

An assistant professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), Dr. Trang is committed to providing the best that medicine has to offer: quality care that combines the latest medical treatments and innovations with the most up-to-date technology. Her practice philosophy emphasizes prevention and education as essential to overall wellness.
