Dr. Yan Duan, MD

Dr. Yan Duan earned her medical degree at China Medical University in Shenyang. She then completed her internship and residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Duan has been in practice since 2015. She provides complete care for adults 18 and older and also speaks Chinese. Dr. Duan’s clinical interests include diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic obstructive lung disease, high cholesterol, asthma, allergies, preventive medicine and women’s health.

Her practice style centers on providing friendly, attentive, thorough care with a respectful bedside manner. Her patients appreciate her kindness, professionalism and experience, as well as the fact that she attentively listens to them and doesn’t rush through appointments.

A resident of Richmond, Dr. Duan is married and the mother of two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
