Dr. Syed Gardezi received his medical degree at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his family practice residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Gardezi has practiced medicine in Texas since 2000. His clinical Interests include hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis and thyroid problems.
Dr. Gardezi treats sees patients 15 years and older and treats them all like family, providing each with the best possible care. He has weekly clinics for those with special needs and his patients appreciate his bedside manner and the time he spends with them. Dr. Gardezi speaks Urdu and staff members speak Spanish.
Dr. Gardezi has been recognized for his research on vitamin D by the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research and honored with the MD Anderson Young Investigator award.
Sugar Land residents, Dr. Gardezi and his wife have three children. When not treating patients, Dr. Gardezi can usually be found exercising at the gym, playing tennis, golf, swimming, reading or doing what he loves most, which is spending time with his family.
