Dr. Gail Donley-Urita, MD

Dr. Gail Contreras earned her medical degree and completed her residency training at Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota.

Board certified in internal medicine and palliative medicine, Dr. Contreras is an active member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Her clinical interests include palliative medicine, geriatrics, pain management, pulmonary diseases and stress management. In practice since 2002, Dr. Contreras treats patients 15 years and older.

Dr. Contreras’s practice philosophy is to listen to her patients. She doesn’t rush her patients and takes the time needed to make each one understand their medical conditions.

Katy residents, Dr. Contreras and her husband have four children. In her spare time she enjoys time with her family and loves going to Houston Rockets and Texans games.
