Dr. Subodh Bhuchar earned his medical degree at Seth Gorbandas Sunderdas

in New York City, North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York
(pediatrics), and the Texas Tech University Health Science Center (family
medicine).
Board certified in pediatrics and family medicine, Dr. Bhuchar has
practiced in the Sugar Land area since 1992, treating patients from newborns to
seniors. His practice philosophy centers on putting
patients first and providing
continuity
of care, including newborn hospital visits, normal developmental well-baby
checks, post emergency room follow ups, annual adult physicals, and geriatric
acute care in long-term facilities.
Dr.
Bhuchar has been recognized as Best Physician Communicator and Best Bedside
Manner at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land. He also serves as Director of Physician
Networks for Memorial Hermann Sugar Land and is an advisor on various hospital
committees. He is a preceptor to medical students and nurse practitioners from
the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical
School and Baylor College of Medicine.

Sugar Land resident, Dr. Bhuchar is married and the father of
three children. He has been on the Board of Directors of Fort Bend Cares, a
non-profit organization that serves underprivileged children, and is a mentor
for area high school students who are interested in medical careers. He also
hosts a weekly radio medical call-in talk show.
