Dr. Asma Khan, MD

Dr. Asma Khan earned her medical degree at Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston and her residency in family medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Khan has been in practice since 1994. She sees patients ages 16 and older and also speaks Urdu, Hindi and Spanish. Her primary clinical interests are preventive care, diabetes management, asthma, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and women’s care, including PAP smears.

For her patients’ convenience, Dr. Khan offers same-day and tele-health appointments. Patients describe her as a very knowledgeable and thorough physician who wants the best for her patients and takes the time to listen to their concerns. 

A resident of Houston, Dr. Khan is married and the mother of two children. Away from her practice she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
