Dr. Mohan Jacob, MD

Dr. Mohan Jacob earned his medical degree at Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. He completed his internship and residency at Wyckoff Heights Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., and his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky.

Dr. Jacob, who has been in practice since 1983, is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and has special training in nuclear cardiology. He treats patients ages 18 and older and also speaks French and Hindi. Dr. Jacob’s clinical interests include coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.

Personalized care is the hallmark of Dr. Jacob’s practice philosophy. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered clinical cardiology, and his practice has an onsite accredited nuclear stress lab and an accredited echocardiography lab. His patients especially appreciate his integrity and compassion.

Dr. Jacob is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. He also is a member of the American Heart Association, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Society and Harris County Medical Society.

A resident of The Woodlands, Dr. Jacob is married and has two children. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing tennis.
