Dr. Iyad Daher, MD

Dr. Iyad Daher earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He then completed both his residency and fellowship training at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Daher has clinical interest and expertise in advanced cardiac imaging, including CT, MRI, ultrasound and nuclear imaging. In practice since 1999, Dr. Daher treats patients 14 years and older. He speaks Arabic and French.

Dr. Daher’s primary focus is on preventive cardiology. He offers his patients many options that can have a substantive impact on preventing or minimizing heart disease. He gives specialized attention to each patient and enjoys getting to know each one on a personal basis to deliver the best care.

The author of more than 25 journal articles on cardiovascular health, Dr. Daher currently serves as the director of Cardiovascular Imaging and is Cardiology section chair at Memorial Herman Southwest Hospital.

Residents of Southwest Houston, Dr. Daher and his wife have two children.
