Makeda Gilbert, PT, DPT, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Makeda completed a bachelor's degree in medical technology, including a workshop experience in biotechnology, at Hunter College, City University of New York. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy at D'Youville College in Buffalo, N.Y.

A musculoskeletal and pelvic floor therapist, Makeda has advanced training in visceral manipulation and mobilization to assist with male- and female-related pelvic floor conditions. She focuses on helping patients drive their health performance and well-being through understanding various neuromuscular, pelvic floor and musculoskeletal conditions.

Makeda enjoys connecting with family and friends, traveling and exploring new dining and art installations in the community.
