On Thursday, Oct. 1, Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital will be hosting a special event, “Rising Above It All!” from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Medical Plaza IV Building on Gessner.
You are cordially invited to attend this special event being held in honor of all those who have had an experience dealing with breast cancer. This elegant evening features hors d’ oeuvres, cocktails, a silent auction and fashion show. In addition, there will be a special exhibit of art by cancer patients.

| Prostate Cancer Screening
In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Week, a free prostate cancer screening is being offered for men 50 and older (African American males/those with family history, age 45 and older annually; those with 2+ family members with history, age 40 and older annually). This screening includes a digital rectal exam and a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test. Monday, Sept. 28 – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
