Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Virtual Urgent Care can diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, from allergies and rashes to sprains and bug bites, UTIs, pink eye, coughs, colds, flu and much more. You can usually get a Virtual Urgent Care visit within hours of your booking.
The provider you meet in a Virtual Urgent Care visit is of the same standard and training as those you meet in person at one of our centers. In fact, our providers host Virtual Urgent Care visits right from our centers, so there is a chance you have met them in person before.
You’ll receive a text or email 15 minutes before your Virtual Urgent Care visit. Then, use your computer, tablet or phone to describe your symptoms and have your provider virtually examine areas of concern.
If your provider feels you need to come into a nearby center for further examination, the co-pay for your Virtual Urgent Care visit will be deducted from your in-person consultation.

Similar to WhatsApp, Skype and FaceTime, a Virtual Urgent Care visit allows you to meet with one of our urgent care providers remotely via video when you can't make it to one of our centers. Like an in-person visit, a Virtual Urgent Care visit can be made same-day or next-day. Fifteen (15) minutes before your scheduled visit time starts, you will receive an email and/or a text message with a direct link to your video session. Click the link to enter your date of birth and electronically sign any consent form.
Providers can evaluate many conditions during a Virtual Urgent Care visit, including allergies, asthma, wheezing, animal or insect bites (minor), bronchitis, respiratory infection, colds, cough, flu, headache, nausea, pink eye, poison oak, poison ivy, rash, skin infection, sinus infections, sore throat, STDs, laryngitis, sprains & strains, and urinary tract infection (UTIs).
You will need an internet-enabled device with a camera and a microphone, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. Google Chrome is the preferred browser, but Safari and Firefox are also compatible. You can also utilize our mobile app to schedule and launch your Virtual Urgent Care visit.
